Kicks Vision Experience

George P. Johnson Experience Marketing worked with Nissan to create a multimedia experience that brought the 2025 Nissan Kicks’ cultural and artistic inspirations to life. Sneakers, music, and a sense of adventure come together to tell the Kicks story, with the help of the latest Apple Vision Pro headsets. The experience allowed guests to get a sense of what inspired Nissan’s designer to take the Kicks to a whole new level.
The experience room was decorated as a hi-fi lounge, and it served a dual purpose as an inviting space for guests to relax and refresh. Inside the headsets the bookshelf objects were marked with floating hotspots that a guest could activate to learn more about the Nissan Kicks story. The guest’s experience was streamed to a television inside the space so that other guests could also be included in the activation.
As the lead creative technologist for GPJ, I worked closely with the GPJ creative team to design the experience and user journey. I managed our contract developer who built the experience in Unity and worked with them to conduct extensive QA testing and review. I traveled onsite to Santa Barbara, CA to do the final testing, installation, and client review. I ran the experience for the duration of the event by managing four Apple Vision Pro headsets. I personally guided each guest through calibrating their Apple Vision Pro headset and navigating the experience.
