PJR Cirrus:
Sales Gallery
2019
M1 Interactive created an interactive real estate sales gallery for PJR Design and Lendlease to showcase the new Cirrus building in Chicago’s Lakeview East community. Cirrus is a 47-story, 363-unit luxury condominium tower scheduled to open in 2021. The sales gallery is used to show prospective buyers units available for purchase while the building is under construction.
Sales representatives control the gallery using the application on one of three Surface Go tablets. The tablet is used for interfacing with the Offices, View Wall, and Model TV screens and as a standalone presentation. It shows building amenities, floor plans, 360° panoramic views for each floor, videos, and neighborhood points of interest. In addition to the content on the tablet, the Office screens are used to compare any two floor plans or views, the Views Wall shows floor views and renderings, and the Model TV shows videos. Representatives can also register new clients to their database using the tablet.
I created this desktop application using Unity. I wrote the networked connections between the three tablets, the server, and the four gallery display stations. I used system control and PsExec to build server control into the tablet application. took an existing program started by other developers, built additional functionality on top of it, and refactored the code to optimize the application. I actively participated in feedback meetings with the designers and product demonstrations with the client as well as QA testing during the development process.
